It is mandatory that all Fullblood and Purebred animals have the following tests:

1. DNA Parentage Verified - Both Sire and Dam of the animal must qualify through DNA
testing. (SNP testing method)
2. Myostatin Test - confirm animal carries 2-copies of the C313Y gene.

It is mandatory that all animals in this category be tested & verified to be a 2-copy carrier of
the Myostatin gene.

These animals do not have to be sire and/or dam verified, but it is encouraged for EPD
data collection. Pedigrees will not be printed on the certificate unless the sire and/or dam
qualify thru DNA testing.

Tendercross (1-copy Myostatin): ……………………………………………………………………………………………… $20.00

It is mandatory that all animals in this category be tested & verified to be a 1-copy carrier of
the Myostatin gene.
These animals do not have to be sire and/or dam verified, but is encouraged for EPD

It is mandatory that all Percentage animals have the following tests:

1. DNA Parentage Verified - Both Sire and Dam of the animal must qualify through DNA

The percentage of Piedmontese blood will be determined by a combination of
percentage from the sire and dam.

Registration, transfers, and testing fees are the responsibility of the breeder (seller).
Registrations are completed AFTER DNA testing confirmation.
